This role is to liaise between drivers and clients, arranging for the driver to take the client to their appointment.  Volunteers work from home using their own phone and expenses are reimbursed.  The rota is normally fortnightly for one day from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

Volunteer telephonists are mostly Cheadle Hulme people of any age who enjoy talking on the phone and connecting the volunteer drivers to the people who need help. The volunteers use a redirected telephone line.
Requirements – Good telephone manner, enjoy communicating with people.
